Engineering Works between Thurles and Limerick, Saturday 31st August
Due to engineering works between Thurles and Limerick on Saturday 31st August, the following service alterations will take place:
20:20hrs Cork to Heuston will operate to Limerick Jct. only with a bus transfer to Thurles, and an onward train connection from Thurles to Dublin Heuston.
20:45 Limerick to Heuston will be a bus transfer to Thurles with an onward train connection to Dublin Heuston.
21:00hrs Heuston to Cork will operate to Thurles only with bus transfer to Limerick Jct. and an onward train connection from Limerick Jct. to Cork.
22:25hrs Portlaoise to Heuston is deferred to 23:00hrs.
22:38 Limerick Junction to Limerick will be a bus transfer.
Please note that the 20/25 minute delay may occur due to these alterations.
It seems strange timing. The 20:20 Cork-Heuston will be busy with Kerry GAA fans and the 20:45 Limerick-Heuston may also see extra demand.
