Irish Rail have no notices up on the website about the new Belfast timetable from Sunday 6 Jan. They have updated the journey planner. Can't say if any info in Connolly about the changes. Nothing major but some services depart 5 minutes earlier.

Not sure how well it will work until new IR timetable starts on 20 Jan.

All the changes are within Northern Ireland, with the sole exception of the last train from Belfast which theoretically arrives in Dublin at 2215 instead of 2218 (maybe Irish Rail will shunt the DART which normally camps on the southbound line at Malahide from 2150 to 2210).
1410, 1610, 1810 and 2010 from Belfast (Mondays to Saturday) will depart at 1405, 1605, 1805 and 2005 respectively and serve Lisburn. 1650 (Mondays to Saturdays) from Dublin will also serve Lisburn and is now due in Belfast at 1905, significantly slower than pre-upgrade journey times.
Last train Belfast to Coleraine 2220, Coleraine to Belfast 2219.
Significant frequency improvements between Belfast and Coleraine/Portrush (half hourly peak Mondays to Fridays, hourly off peak, Monday to Saturdays), two-hourly Sundays. Similarly Belfast and Whitehead off peak frequency increased to half-hourly (Mondays to Saturday) and hourly on Sundays.
