View Full Version : Free wifi extended to 29k commuter trains
Just thought id let you know that I am posting this from an inbound maynooth line service which is 29k operated and I am connected to Irish rail wifi with strong signal.
A bit of good news to start of the week! :)

The whole fleet has wifi now.
I also heard Barry Kenny say the Mark4's will not have sockets fitted anytime soon as they have no money to do it.
I was on darts twice today and neither had it!

DART won't be enabled till end December 2012
There are one or two sets (LHB I think) with the equipment live currently

was on a DART set (original carriages) on Tuesday that had wifi. It was just as unreliable (i.e. very) as the 3G signal is along the southern section of the line, so slightly pointless.
