Rail Explorer - Iarnród Éireann's online educational resource (http://www.irishrail.ie/index.jsp?p=115&n=273) for young people was launched Tuesday 5th June at Heuston Station.
Rail explorer is an exciting web based interactive tool to engage young people – and the young at heart - in discovering more about trains and the national railway system.
To celebrate its launch Iarnród Éireann is giving one lucky child the chance to become a train driver for the day. By simply filling out this quiz kids aged 10-16 (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZQWRXLL) will be in with a chance to win a visit to Inchicore works to try their hand at driving in our state of the art train simulator, before going on a train trip in the Driver’s cab.
The Competition will be open until Friday 29th June so get exploring!
