Has anyone any idea why the new Irishrail.ie timetables for Connolly aren't updated on the web site.
Its now nearly 48 hours since they were introduced but they still show the old ones as being the operative ones.
Those not fully aware that a new timetable had been introduced would and could easily get into the old ones. For example the old Rosslare line timetables are still up there.

There is a clear notice on the website
"Connolly, Intercity & DART schedule revisions to come into operation from September 25th next."
Then the link "New Connolly & DART Timetable: Valid From 25th September 2011"
So its fairly obvious there are new timetables, so clearly no fault as to giving some warning of a change. Plenty of signs at stations and trains as well.
On the other hand humans will ignore all obvious signs, it it sloppy the old timetable should have been deleted at the start of business this morning to avoid all possible confusion. There are other issues as well such as references to trains which don't even exist in notices on the website currently. This has been raised with Irish Rail this evening.
The ticket machines in Connolly have the new Rosslare timetable posted on them, and the concourse timetable is the new version as well, I haven't seen an old timetable on public display and the online planner is working correctly.
Irish Rail are probably busy doing what ever the minister for state needs this week...

In addition if you look at the New Timetable for Docklands, with particular reference to the Dublin Bus connections, you'll see they haven't updated that at all. It quotes trains that no longer exist at Docklands.
Again using your own sloppy 'sloppy'.

Mark, will this be Intercity or a Commuter?

Its a commuter train currently. If you look carefully the 17:36 is now an intercity train (not that it was yesterday)

Do you think there will be 6 coaches 22k anytime soon on the busier journeys?

I'm told all M3 Parkway/Docklands files will be updated shortly
The DART pdf exists and again will be updated shortly
Everything should be revised at that point

Of course it should be available, but its not and we are chasing Irish Rail to resolve about 5 things at the moment. Thats the nature of our role to highlight when something is wrong and to seek its resolution.
