If you try to get a ticket from the machine and it is not working, and it has taken your money telephone the number on the machine and ensure that you select the option to report a fault.

Make sure you say your name, car reg, time, and where you are, and leave your mobile number.

Make a note of the time you made the call.

All calls are recorded, this can be usefull if you need to appeal a fine payment.

Thanks this is a particular problem at Hazelhatch, I've stopped driving to the station now.

If you can, also take a photo of the machine and any message it is displaying.

had this happen with all 3 machines in Hazehatch too (over the cold weather 2 were frozen and one took the money but couldnt dispense a ticket -just as well i only got a daily and not the monthly i was going to get!!)

i rang the number and told the guy the machines were out of order...gave him car reg and he said it'd be fine

and funnily enough it was...but i dont think they bothered coming out coz of the appalling state of the roads
