Luas Red Line Disruption

Date 27/11/2010
Luas Red Line Services will operate only between Tallaght and Smithfield on the 27th November 2010 from 10.00am on wards due to A National Demonstration taking place between Wood Quay and O’Connell Street. There will be no Luas service between Smithfield and Connolly or The Point during the demonstration.

Luas tickets will be valid on Dublin Bus during this disruption to service

The Red Line will fully reopen when the demonstration is over.

Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that due to the Congress of Trade Unions March on Saturday 27th November 2010 from Winetavern St. to O'Connell St. the following diversions will be in place.

Northbound Services
Buses will follow their normal route to O'Connell Bridge, then right onto Eden Quay, left into Beresford Place, Gardiner St., left onto Parnell St., Parnell Sq. West and back onto normal route.

Southbound Services
Buses will follow their normal route to Parnell Sq. East, left to Parnell St., right onto Marlborough St., left onto Sean McDermott St., right into Gardiner St., across Memorial Bridge onto George’s Quay, Burgh Quay and back onto normal route.

Routes 4 and 7 Southbound
Buses will follow their normal route to Parnell Sq. East, left to Parnell St., right onto Marlborough St., right onto Eden Quay, left onto O’Connell Bridge and back onto normal route.

Routes 25, 25a, 25b, 26, 37, 39, 39a, 66, 66a, 66b, 67 and 70
Buses will use Dame St. and Bridge St. in both directions.

Dublin Bus wishes to advise customers that the Bus Gate at Pearse St. will be closed on Saturday 27th November 2010 from 08:00hrs to 12:00hrs and the following diversions will be in place.

Route 3 from Sandymount
Normal route to Pearse St., then right into Tara St., left into Poolbeg St., left into Hawkins St. and back onto normal route.

Route 3 from Larkhill
Normal route.

Route 47 towards City Centre
Normal route to Pears St., then right into Tara St., left into Poolbeg St., left into Hawkins St. and terminate.

Route 47 from City Centre
Buses will depart from a temporary terminus in Hawkins St. and back onto normal route.

Routes 13/a, 26, 66, 66a, 66b and 67 from City Centre
Normal route to Pearse St., then right into Tara St., left into Poolbeg St., left into Hawkins St. and back onto normal route.

Routes 13/a, 26, 66, 66a, 66b and 67 towards City Centre
Normal route.

Routes 50, 56a, 77 and 77a from City Centre
Normal route to Pearse St., then right into Tara St., left into Poolbeg St., left into Hawkins St. and back onto normal route.

Routes 50, 56a, 77 and 77a towards City Centre
Normal route.
