Ground Hog day/week again...
I was on the 07.12am Drogheda-Bray service, and were delayed about 10 mins north of Howth Junction. We were also held for another 10-15 mins north of/in Connolly.
Not a single piece of information from the driver.
Nothing on the PA in Connolly, but as I was on the final carriage, there could have been something, but the PA system only works for the top 4 carriages there.
However, I did spot on the overhead displays in Pearse St the reason for the delay- Signal Failure at Howth Junction and Leaves on the Track
When I checked IE Realtime in work, the travel alerts section was blank. It also showed every single southbound DART and Drogheda train delayed up to 30 mins. Maynooth trains were 10-15 min delayed.

Does leaves on the track officially count as inside or outside Irish Rail's control. If it were outside that could account somewhat for its popularity as an excuse.

I'm shocked! Somebody in Ireland has actually taken responsibility for something about which they could possibly do something.
