Delays of about 10 minutes on most southbound DARTs.

Ground Hog day again...
I assume it was all related to wheelslip, but no additional information on displays etc.
Delays of on average 10 mins to all southbound DARTS and Drogheda services up to 09.40am, No impact on maynooth originating services.
However, 07.10 Dundalk to Bray was delayed for 20 minutes. Delay was on the Donabate Connolly leg of the journey. It arrived in Donabate at 8.11am, and departed Connolly at 08.51am= 40 mins for a non stop section.

I'm not so sure. It looks like something caused a specific delay somewhere and a whole series of trains were late out of Howth.

Surely wheelslip would have a distributed effect and not predominantly affect many/all southbound trains for a specific time period.

I see that Rotem are building an antislip mechanism into their Silverliner V EMUs for Philadelphia but it still needs some work based on the performance of the early deliveries. It's a problem worldwide - probably have better luck mounting a big vacuum on a loco and sucking the leaves off the trees. :D :D :D
