I'm at hueston waiting on my train home and the incoming waterford train is coming in 50 minutes late. Anybody know why and will the outbound train at 6.35 be effected also?

Delayed in Kilkenny for 50 minutes.

Dublin Heuston to Waterford (A508) 19:00 19:16 69 Mins Departed Cherryville Junction

Delayed at Cherryville Junction for 15minutes waiting for 15:00

Waterford to Dublin Heuston (A519) 19:35 19:48 102 Mins Departed Kilkenny

Something causing delays in Kilkenny.

I also just posted on a number of Waterford train delayes. There is some problem in Kilkenny.

Just spoke to friendly IE man about delay and he said it won't effect the 6.35 train so fingers crossed

Friendly IE man lied. Stuck in kilkenny for a further 10 minutes due to operational reasons. Suppose I should be grateful they've even bothered to tell passengers at all.
