Services suspended between Hazelhatch and Heuston. by Corporate Communications
Update : Tuesday 5th October 15.45hrs
Services are suspended between Hazelhatch and Heuston due to a person being struck on the line near Kishogue Station.
Emergency services are currently attending the scene.
Significant service delays are expected to Heuston Services this evening.
This website will be updated as further information is made available.
There is now the ability to terminate trains in Hazelhatch since some recent works were completed. Estimate 90 minutes, ie. 17:30 ish before anything moves out of Heuston

All services to Newbridge/Kildare/Portlaois are cancelled
Long distance services are running but with extra stops and probably short trains.
Any update guys? Is the Waterford service running out of Heuston at 18.35?

Update : Tuesday 5th October 16:50hrs
Intercity Services into Heuston are currently suspended between Hazelhatch and Heuston due to a person being struck on the line near Kishogue Station. Emergency services are currently attending the scene.
Bus transfers will shortly be provided for customers from Portarlington, Kildare, Newbridge and Sallins to Heuston.
Heuston Commuter evening services are suspended however passengers will be accommodated on Intercity services from Heuston which will make additional stops. However, severe delays can be expected.
This website will be updated as further information is made available.
The 18:35 will operate but will serve extra stops.
Services are starting to resume according to the Realtime info.

Intercity Services into Heuston have resumed. Delays for the rest of the evening can be expected.
This is due to a person being struck on the line near Kishogue Station between Hazelhatch and Dublin Heuston. Emergency services are currently attending the scene.
Bus transfers are being provided for customers from Portarlington, Kildare, Newbridge and Sallins to Heuston.

Fonthill (Clondalkin) has re-opened.

Update 19.10hrs Services between Hazelhatch and Heuston by Corporate Communications
Update : Tuesday 5th October 19.10hrs
All Intercity and Commuter Services to and from Heuston Station have now resumed. Delays to some services remain.
This follows an earlier incident, in which a person was struck on the line near Kishogue Station between Hazelhatch and Dublin Heuston. The line was closed earlier while emergency services attended the scene.
Iarnród Éireann apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.

Irish Rail services resume, delays expected

Irish Rail services between Heuston and Hazelhatch stations have resumed this evening.
However in a statement, Irish Rail says delays can be expected for the rest of the evening.
A train hit a person who was on the tracks near to Kishogue at Clondalkin just before 3pm.
AdvertisementBus transfers were being provided for customers from Portarlington, Kildare, Newbridge and Sallins to Heuston.
Commuters are advised to check www.irishrail.ie for updated services.
