There are extra trains between Cork and Midleton tomorrow in connection with the Midleton Food and Drink festival. Trains from Cork leave at 8 minutes to the hour between 09:52 and 17:52 inclusive and trains to Cork leave at 20 minutes past the hour between 10:20 and 18:20 inclusive. This is along with the existing service of hourly trains from Cork from 06:15 to 22:15 and to Cork from 06:45 to 22:45.

Iarnród Éireann is operating additional trains between Cork and Midleton this Saturday, 11th September for the Midleton Food & Drink Festival.

The Midleton Festival event will provide brilliant entertainment for the entire family. Adult day return rail fares from Cork to Midleton (€6.50 return) and child fares under 16 years of age (€3.25 return) as well as Family Kid+ Day return fares for any two adults and up to 4 children under 16 years of age (€17.30 return) make the trip by train to Midleton great value. It’s also never been easier to get to Midleton - with frequent train services from Cork City to Midleton Town Centre, excellent value rail fares and ample Park & Ride facilities at commuter stations along the route (Park and Ride facilities are available at stations Kent Station, Cork, Little Island Station, Glounthaune Station and Carrigtwohill Station).

Midleton Station is within easy walking distance of Main Street, Midleton - and Midleton Food and Drink Festival have also arranged a shuttle bus from Midleton Station to the Town Centre to cater for people arriving off trains.
