Tag on/off at Sandymount

All the ticket gates at Sandymount have been torn out, so the only remaining method of tagging on/off is the pole at the night gate on the southbound platform. Very inconvenient for people travelling northbound.

The underpass at Sandymount is currently closed, as is the route from the booking office to the platform. Station access to/from the southbound platform is via the night gate. Passengers arriving at or departing from the northbound platform must tag on at the night gate, and must use the level crossing. Passengers should allow extra time for this, in particular if coming from the western side of Sandymount Avenue and travelling northbound, in case the level crossing is down or goes down while you are tagging on.

Interesting. Aren't there two parts to the underpass? Surely one could be made available.
