I got the 18:17 from Connolly yesterday and had the distinct displeasure of sitting at Enfield for about an hour and a half.
Not a word of explanation for at least 45 minutes and then the driver mumbled something about a signal failure and that he had absolutely no idea when we would move on.
At one stage he even encouraged passengers to go to the shop across the road from the train station if they wished as it looked like we would be for some time yet.
Arrived Mullingar about 9pm. Disgraceful.
