[09/06/2010] Signal failure Connolly

No trains running over the Amiens Street bridge at the moment and severe delays to Dublin area services due to signal failure at Connolly.

We were crawling for an extra 10 mins north of Connolly at 08.30am this morning on a Dundalk-Bray service. The Howth-Dun Laoghaire DART which normally runs behind us, was already waiting on the platform in Connolly when we arrived in. They had to wait till we passed them. The Maynooth to Bray service was also sitting near Croke park waiting for our arrival. It's odd, as we were on time till north of Howth Junction.
Lot's of people late again for work this morning....:mad:
