The Irish Rail website has notice about services from Heuston next weekend (May 8th and 9th). Clicking on it you get the following:
Due to engineering works at Cherryville Junction, near Kildare, Intercity services to and from Heuston Station will be part-substituted by bus between 11.00hrs on Saturday 8th May and 11.00hrs on Sunday 9th May.
Please search journey times from our home page for full details.
Two things:
(i) clicking as advised just brings you back to whare you started, so unless you know that you should go to the on-line timetables, you just go round in ever-diminishing circles.
(ii) to-day's Irish times has an advert about the same disruption, but the times are different: from 1000 on the 8th to 1130 on the 9th.
Is there any limit to the incompetence of Corporate Communications?
