DART Disruption Dalkey to Greystones by Corporate Communications

DART services between Dalkey and Greystones are currently disrupted, due to a technical fault on a train at Shankill. Southbound services are suspended between Dalkey and Greystones, and there are delays to northbound services.

Dublin Bus are honouring rail tickets for customers travelling to stations south of Dalkey.

Iarnród Éireann apologises to customers for the inconvenience caused.
Once again Greystones gets nuked for no reason

Well the train is actually in Woodbrook on the Bray Golf course close to or at the disused but still intact platform, its still there have no information as to whether the passengers have been rescued which would be easy if the train is stopped at the platform

What the notice should say is
The xx:xx a to b service has suffered a severe technical fault and is stuck at y. Passengers on board have been able to leave the train .........

The xx:xx to a and .... will operate with delays of y minutes

if you where delayed for more than an hour the refund priceedure is

We expect to resume normal service at x

Gorey commuter and Rosslare Intercity services will operate, with significant delays.

Dublin Bus are honouring rail tickets for customers travelling to stations south of Dalkey.

The line reopened at about 19:15

Major delays still and total confusion, the train I was on was delayed while the driver argued with the signalman by radio, mobile and line side phone about where he was going, platform display said Connolly thats where it went
