Southbound DARTs are currently running 5-15 minutes late. This may have knock-on effects for InterCity and suburban services and later northbound DARTS.

Train failure at Portmarnock is the cause

I was turfed off a southbound DART, it decided to run non stop from Booterstown to Bray, even the driver couldn't understand why

I think it is due to an earlier train failure in portmarnock

I dont think it was the brightest idea to run an all stops to malahide DART ahead of the 17.50 pearse malahide

Best info indicates a DART (probably a LHB set) suffered a compressor failure at Portmarnock

At least 2 trains to Malahide and 2 from Malahide where cut back to Howth Junction and one of these trains ran non stop from Booterstown to Bray

Allowing for the failed train, that gives at least 5 possibly 6 cancellations as the trains 'did not operate as planned'

The 17:50 decision (second Friday in a row) didn't help, the set operating the service was trapped somewhere and a 4 coach train from Maynooth due in Pearse at 17:50 was used instead. By allowing the 17:54 DART departure ahead it further delayed southbound services, as the inbound set blocked 3 soutbound DART services
