11th August: Sligo route: bus transfers on morning services by Corporate Communications

11th August, 08.55hrs

Services on the Sligo-Dublin line are currently operating with bus transfers between Carrick-on-Shannon and Dromod, as the line is currently blocked by a maintenance train.

Services are expected to return to normal by 12.00 (midday) today.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

Given the first train leaves Sligo at 5:45 you would imagine a notice a bit sooner

Problem continues

11th August, UPDATE: 13:15hrs

Services on the Sligo-Dublin line are currently operating with bus transfers between Carrick-on-Shannon and Dromod, as the line is currently blocked by a maintenance train.

Services are expected to return to normal by 15:00hrs today.

11th August - UPDATE 14.30hrs

Sligo line services are returning to normal following earlier bus transfers.

Services will operate normally from the 15.00 Sligo to Connolly, and 15.05 Connolly to Sligo service onwards.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the earlier disruption. This was due to a maintenance train blocking the line.
